The Natural Stone Institute, in coordination with the China Xiamen International Stone Fair, is inviting association members to join a volunteer delegation to the 2020 fair. The China Xiamen International Stone Fair connects thousands of buyers, suppliers, and manufacturers from around the globe.

Calacatta Columbus marble by Granitos Zucchi has been chosen as the 2021 Natural Stone Institute Stone of the Year. The stone will be featured on 2021 member certificates, membership code of ethics, and association marketing materials throughout the year.

On Thursday, April 30, 2020 the Natural Stone Institute will host a webinar entitled “How the Stone Industry is Responding to COVID-19.” Moderated by Jim Hieb, CEO of the Natural Stone Institute, the panel will include: Scott Byers of Majestic Kitchen & Bath Creations, Katie Jensen of Triton Stone Group and Brett Rugo of Rugo Stone.

Natural Stone Institute will participate in the Middle East Stone Show, scheduled September 4-6 in Dubai. In addition to exhibiting at the show, Natural Stone Institute will present several free educational seminars as part of the show’s Stone Conference. 

The Natural Stone Institute will present a webinar entitled “Using Natural Stone in Commercial Architecture” on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. (EST). Participants will be able to earn CEU credits. 

The Natural Stone Institute is proud to again serve as a supporting association for Middle East Stone, which will take place December 5th to 8th at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
