The Natural Stone Institute has provided natural stone and fabrication services for another home through the Gary Sinise Foundation’s R.I.S.E. program (Restoring Independence Supporting Empowerment). The R.I.S.E. program builds specially adapted smart homes for severely wounded veterans and first responders. To date, Natural Stone Institute members have been involved in twenty-eight completed homes.

The twelve winning projects of the 2020 Tucker Design Awards will be celebrated during a virtual ceremony on August 18 at 11am. The 2020 Bybee Prize recipient will also be announced during this virtual celebration.

The annual Natural Stone Institute Auction is going hybrid; "LIVE and virtual" for 2021. This means that attendees can participate LIVE on-site, as part of the Cleveland Study Tour, OR virtually, via a streaming broadcast viewed upon their devices from anywhere.
